The following details are kept regarding your stay with us: name, first name, e-mail address, telephone number, place of birth, date of birth, nationality, number of identity document/passport.

These personal details are requested or received by mail, telephone or registration upon arrival.

Personal data will be retained for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements, including accounting requirements.

We only keep your details in accordance with the Belgian Legislation (Royal Decree of 18 May 2007), "Registration and Control of travelers staying in a Tourist accommodation".

The data is only stored and processed by the manager.

The obtained data are exclusively for the benefit of Het Blauwe Huis B & B.

Transfer to third parties

Het Blauwe Huis B & B guarantees that we will never share your personal information with third parties without your explicit prior consent.

Processing and storage of personal data

All data is processed on the company manager's PC and is also entered manually in an external paper log. No one besides the company manager has access to your personal data.

Security and confidentiality

The PC of the manager and the external paper log are located in the office of the company, in the part of the house that is not accessible to guests.

In case of data leaks, hacking, burglary or theft, this will be reported to the local police of Zottegem.

Right of inspection

Guests posses a right of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and transferability of personal data.

The guest / customer has the right to inspect his / her personal data at all times and can improve them if they are incorrect or incomplete. In addition, the guest / customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured and machine-readable form) of his / her personal data.

Direct publications

If photos are taken on the occasion of accommodation, meetings, festivities in or around Het Blauwe Huis, the customer agrees that he/she can be photographed. These photos can be published on our website or Facebook page. If for some reason the person does not want to part of a picture at a particular time, he /she can expressly report this at that moment to the photographer or the person responsible for the B & B.

Direct marketing

The customer / guest has the right to oppose free of charge any processing of his personal data with a view to direct marketing.

Complaint

The customer / guest has the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission for the protection of privacy, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels – commission@privacycommission.be.
